- Navigate to User Settings: Log in to your Telgoo5 dashboard.
- Access Management: Navigate to User Settings (PC480).
- Access the Manage Distributor Tab: Ensure you are on the Manage distributor (PC121) tab.
- Initiate Creation: Click the blue "Add new distributor" button located in the top-right corner of the "Manage distributor" section.
- Fill Required Details: Input the necessary information in the form that appears (group type, master agent, first and last name, login ID, password, email address, address).
- "Show on agent locator" setting determines whether this distributor’s business location will appear on your public-facing Agent Locator tool or map.
- If set to "Yes": The distributor’s information (name, address, etc.) will be published to the public portal, allowing customers to search for and find their physical storefront or business location. This is typically used for brick-and-mortar retail partners or authorized service centers that you want to drive customer traffic toward.
- If set to "No": The distributor will remain hidden from the public locator tool. This is the standard setting for corporate or back-end entities, distributors that operate strictly online, or any partner you do not want customers visiting in person.
- “Allow Multiple Phone Request” setting determines if the distributor is permitted to process or submit more than one phone/service request at the same time (e.g., bulk activations or processing multiple subscriber orders in a single transaction).
- Yes: The distributor can handle batch requests or multiple concurrent activations. This is useful for distributors with higher volume or those managing storefronts that process multiple customers simultaneously.
- No: The distributor is restricted to processing one phone/service request at a time. This is often used for smaller distributors or for security/compliance reasons where individual record tracking is required.
- “Add New Phone Request” setting determines if the distributor has the authority to initiate a brand-new service request (i.e., set up a new subscriber or new phone line) within the system.
- Yes: The distributor can create new subscriber accounts and initiate new service activations.
- No: The distributor is restricted from creating new requests. This is typically used for "read-only" distributors, those who are only permitted to manage existing accounts, or those whose role is limited to specific maintenance tasks rather than new customer acquisition.
- "Show on agent locator" setting determines whether this distributor’s business location will appear on your public-facing Agent Locator tool or map.
- Save: Once all required fields are populated, finalize the entry by clicking the save/submit button provided in the form.
